A professional medical team runs a unique rehabilitation of air passages underground in Wieliczka Salt Mines – the oldest mining site in the world, open non – stop since Middle Ages and recorded on The World List of Cultural Heritage of UNESCO. The effects of rehabilitation are multiplied by the influence of unique microclimate characterized by bacteriologic cleanliness, rich in microelements ( healing sodium chloride, ions of magnesium and calcium ) and a lack of allergens and pollutants existing on the surface.
The centre organizes 6.5 hour – long treatment visits within the frame of rehabilitation and treatment sessions 135 metres underground, in Lake Wessel chamber with the assistance of professional medical help.
